Hip Hop

Class meets 1 x a week for 45 minutes after school.  (Ages 5 and up)

The class combines four basic elements: strength, momentum, balance and creativity; helping the dancers understand rhythm, space and emotion through movement.  They will learn the basics of hip hop such as: chest pops, body rolls, baby freeze, and six-step.  This class performs in our Christmas and Spring Recital.  Attire:  athletic pants, shirt, socks, tennis shoes, and hair in ponytail.

Hip Hop Class Schedule:

       Tuesday 7:00 - 7:45 pm - 5-8 year olds

       Wednesday 4:00 - 4:45 pm - 9-11 year olds
